We’re Pavel and Alex Prokofjevs.

We are brothers - and consummate dealmakers. Classically trained (Big 4, Private Equity, investment banking).

Pavel is the Head of M&A for saas.group, a platform for PLG SaaS brands. Alex is the former CFO of Threecolts, an ecommerce enablement platform. Between us, in the last 3 years we have closed a couple of dozen acquisitions (and lost a few more!).

We ❤️ software, M&A, and networking. 

The idea for RollUpEurope was born out of our frustration with the lack of a community for technology-focused serial acquirers.

This is despite the fact that we are witnessing an astonishing flow of capital and brains into the ecosystem. While buy and build plays are nothing new, we believe that North America and Europe are in the early innings of a massive up-cycle. Hundreds of new platforms are being born, fuelled by some of the $2 trillion in PE dry powder. Search funds, bootstrapped consolidators, old-school businesses seeking reinvention, PE backed platforms: everyone is vying for a piece of action. 

For sure, rollups are tough. Sourcing is tough. Fundraising is tough. Integrating acquisitions and building coherent, scalable organisations is probably the toughest gig of them all. Our mission therefore is to unbottle the knowledge held by the community, to help you find the answers.

We do this by publishing content on our social media; by hosting in-person networking events and workshops; and by connecting ideas and capital.
